Spotlight Announcements: Words of Encouragement from our Chaplain Levi Green
3/29/26
With just about 7 weeks left in the 2026 spring semester, let's pause and take a breath. Maybe you set some goals for this semester. Maybe you had some idea formed of how it would or should go. Chances are, it's looked a bit different than planned! That's okay. That's normal. The thing is, God had also laid out His plan for your semester. Psalm 1 brings the image of a tree that is planted by streams of water, and which yields its fruit in season.
In season.
What season are you in right now? Does it feel a little on the dark side, maybe a little dry? Maybe you haven't seen a yield of fruit since you can remember. Be encouraged, then, to persevere and pursue Jesus with patience. Trees have roots. Roots grow deep into the ground in search of water, but in the process, they also provide stability. Stability is what keeps trees grounded in the storm. This same tree from Psalm 1 will yield its fruit - in God's time.
